Commercial Painting Contractors for Buildings That Cannot Slow Down
Commercial painting is a logistics problem before it is a finish problem. The work has to fit around tenants, patients, production, students, or customers, and it has to land on a date somebody else set. Chroma Coatings is organized around that constraint.
We serve general contractors, developers, property managers, and facility directors from our Raleigh headquarters, working throughout North Carolina and the East Coast with the ability to travel for multi-site programs nationwide.
Commercial Painting
Offices, Facilities & Industrial Buildings
Buildings We Paint
Offices and corporate campuses, industrial plants and warehouses, medical facilities, multi-family communities, retail and restaurant, storage facilities, hospitality, schools and universities, houses of worship, and government buildings.
Interior Commercial Painting
Walls, ceilings, trim, doors, frames, structural steel, exposed deck, and back of house areas. Product selection is driven by the environment: scrubbable finishes for corridors that take cart and shoulder traffic, low VOC systems in occupied and sensitive spaces, and chemical resistant coatings where wash downs are routine.
Exterior Commercial Painting
Facades, masonry, stucco, EIFS, metal panel, structural steel, canopies, and parking structures. Exterior work is coating work more than it is painting work. Substrate condition, moisture, sealant integrity, and product compatibility determine whether the finish lasts three years or fifteen, and we scope for the second outcome.
Scheduling Around Your Operation
Chroma Coatings runs 24 hours. Night, early morning, weekend, and holiday scheduling is how a majority of our commercial work gets done.
- Phased work by floor, wing, or department so the building stays open
- Containment, dust control, and daily cleanup with the space restored before staff return
- Low odor and low VOC products in occupied environments
- Crews briefed on building access, badging, and quiet zones
- A superintendent on site who owns the schedule and answers the phone
Preparation Is the Job
The finish is the visible part. The reason it holds is everything that happened before it.
- Pressure and chemical cleaning to remove contaminants that block adhesion
- Scraping, sanding, and mechanical profiling of failed coatings
- Drywall and substrate repair through our Drywall service
- Abrasive blasting where corrosion or coating removal is required, through Sand Blasting
- Caulking, sealant replacement, and joint treatment
- Priming specified to the substrate rather than to whatever is on the truck
Additional Scopes We Self Perform
- Epoxy Flooring and concrete coatings
- Specialty Coatings including powder coating, rubberized systems, and stain and clear coat
- Air Barrier and Fluid Applied systems for new construction envelopes
- Line Striping for parking lots and interior safety markings
- Power washing, roof coatings, and wallpaper installation
