Industries We Serve
Every building type comes with its own rules. A hospital corridor and a factory floor are not the same job with different colors on them. They differ in product selection, scheduling, safety requirements, documentation, and what failure costs the owner.
Chroma Coatings organizes around that reality. Our crews, superintendents, and product specifications are matched to the environment they are working in, which is why facility directors, general contractors, and developers keep bringing us back to the same building types.
Commercial and Institutional
Industrial
Operating factories, warehouses, distribution centers, and metal buildings. High performance coatings, OSHA safety markings, sealed and epoxy floors, sandblasting, and 24 hour scheduling built around shift work and shutdown windows.
New Construction
Ground up commercial buildings and additions for general contractors. Prime out, top coat, and planned punch, run by OSHA 30 superintendents who work alongside other trades and flag scope gaps before they become change orders.
Multi-Family
Apartment, mixed use, and high rise residential, including The Creamery, a 26 story tower in downtown Raleigh. Crew depth, repeatable unit quality, and coordination that holds pace on a stacked schedule.
Medical
Hospitals, clinics, surgical suites, dental and orthopedic practices, and therapy facilities. Low VOC and antimicrobial coatings, washable durable finishes, and after hours scheduling around patient care.
Government
Federal, state, municipal, and housing authority work. Davis-Bacon wage compliance, AIA documentation, sales and use tax forms, and completed projects including USPS Raleigh, USPS Miami, and NCDOA offices.
Storage Facilities
Self storage new builds and refreshes with national partnerships, repeatable scopes, and crews that work around active customer access.
Mergers & Acquisitions
Multi-site conversions when a brand acquires locations. Consistent color standards, fast turns, and rollout schedules built around relaunch dates.
Residential
Interior and exterior residential painting throughout the greater Triangle area, delivered by the same crews and standards that serve our commercial clients.
