Industrial Painting and Coatings for Facilities That Cannot Stop
Production does not pause because a wall needs paint. Chroma Coatings works inside operating factories, distribution centers, and metal buildings where forklifts are moving, lines are running, and every hour of downtime carries a number attached to it. We plan around your schedule instead of asking you to plan around ours.
Our industrial work spans existing manufacturing plants, warehouses, cold storage, food and beverage production, and pre engineered metal buildings from Raleigh through the East Coast, with crews that travel for multi site programs nationwide.

High Performance Coatings Built for Industrial Conditions
Industrial environments punish ordinary paint. Chemical exposure, wash downs, abrasion, humidity, and constant contact break down standard systems long before they should. We specify and apply high performance coatings selected for the actual conditions in your building, not for a generic spec sheet.
Common Industrial Coating Systems
- Epoxy and urethane systems for chemical and abrasion resistance
- Direct to metal coatings for structural steel, mezzanines, and equipment
- Safety yellow coatings on handrails, guarding, bollards, and edge protection as required by OSHA
- Powder coating for metal components that need a factory grade, long life finish
- Sealed concrete and epoxy floor systems for high traffic production and warehouse floors
- Rubberized and elastomeric coatings for impact and moisture protection
Safety Markings and Traffic Separation
In a facility where forklift traffic and foot traffic share the same square footage, the floor is a safety system. We lay out and apply designated walkways, aisle striping, equipment zones, hazard markings, and staging areas so people and machines have clearly separated paths.
Markings are applied with coatings rated for the traffic they will carry, using layout that reflects how your building actually operates. We walk the floor with your safety and operations leads before a single line goes down, so the plan matches the reality of your shift, not a drawing from three years ago.
Sandblasting, Rust Remediation, and Surface Preparation
Coating failure is almost always a preparation failure. Chroma Coatings is trained, equipped, and qualified for abrasive blasting to remove rust, scale, and failed coatings from structural steel, tanks, handrails, and equipment. Proper profile means the new system bonds the way the manufacturer intended and holds for years rather than months. Learn more on ourĀ Sand Blasting page.
We Work Your Shifts, Including the Ones Nobody Wants
Chroma Coatings operates 24 hours. Nights, weekends, swing shifts, shutdown windows, and holiday down periods are normal scheduling for our industrial crews, not an exception we charge you to accommodate.
Before work begins we map the sequence against your production calendar, identify the areas that can be isolated, and set containment so adjacent lines keep running. When a shutdown window is fixed and short, we staff to finish inside it.
Safety Is the Product Before the Finish Is
Every Chroma superintendent holds OSHA 30. Every employee holds OSHA 10. Our teams carry aerial lift certifications for scissor and boom work and complete facility specific safety orientation before entering your building. Hard hats, steel toes, high visibility vests, eye protection, and full awareness of surroundings are baseline, not situational.
We maintain a perfect incident record.
