About Chroma Coatings
Our Story Begins
Chroma Coatings was established by professionals with more than 20 years of experience in commercial and industrial painting. Our CEO is a fourth generation painter, and our leadership team brings over 100 years of combined expertise to the crews working on projects throughout the Southeast and the East Coast.
That lineage matters in a trade where most companies are one person deep. It is the reason we can staff a 26 story tower, a federal facility, and a national storage rollout in the same quarter without any of them slipping.
Built for Commercial Work
Most painting companies grow from residential into commercial and never fully make the transition. We built for commercial from the beginning, and it shows in the things clients do not see until they need them: superintendents who read drawings, project administration that handles Davis-Bacon and AIA paperwork, crews certified for lifts, and a 24 hour operation that treats night work as normal.
We still paint homes throughout the greater Triangle area, and we do it well. But the buildings that occupy most of our calendar are factories, hospitals, apartment towers, post offices, and job sites with a general contractor’s schedule taped to the trailer wall.

- Every superintendent holds OSHA 30
- Every employee holds OSHA 10
- Aerial and scissor lift certifications for elevated work
- Daily safety meetings and toolbox talks on every jobsite
- Full PPE including hard hats, steel toes, and high visibility vests
- Fully licensed and insured, with certificates issued on request

Where We Work
Headquartered at 509 W North St, Suite 101, Raleigh, NC 27603. We work throughout North Carolina’s Triangle Region, Charlotte, and the Wilmington metro, into South Carolina and the broader East Coast, and in the Florida markets of Orlando, Tampa, and Miami-Dade. For multi-site and rollout programs, our crews travel nationwide.
